A Riverhead Preschool Where Children Learn by Doing

Preschool is a time of growing independence, new friendships, and active learning. Our program develops early academic skills, social confidence, emotional awareness, and physical coordination so children can enter Pre-K with confidence.

Hands-On Learning That Builds Readiness

Children learn through teacher-guided activities, small groups, themed learning centers, and play. They are introduced to early concepts in ways that invite participation and build confidence.

Colors, shapes, and numbers

Name recognition and early writing

Letter sounds and tracing

Lacing and cutting

Puzzles and spatial thinking

Strong Bodies Support Active Learning

Movement helps children develop balance, strength, coordination, and body awareness. Preschoolers practice skills through hopping, jumping jacks, movement games, and outdoor play on our playground.

Friendship and Classroom Confidence

Children begin forming stronger friendships and learning how to work with others. Dramatic play, group activities, and everyday classroom experiences help them practice listening, sharing, taking turns, communicating, and solving small problems together.

Practicing Independence Every Day

Our daily schedule gives children chances to make choices and take an active role in the classroom. They practice using the bathroom independently, cleaning up, following directions, and caring for their belongings.

These daily accomplishments help children see themselves as capable and responsible.

More Ways to Explore

Yoga, dance, music, art, nature activities, and Spanish give preschoolers more ways to move, create, communicate, and discover their interests.

Children also have an afternoon opportunity to rest or nap before continuing with the rest of their day.
