All of our staff are dedicated to providing a secure, safe, caring and stimulating learning environment. Upon working for our center all of our employees are required to be fingerprinted, have a clean bill of health from their physician and cleared through the state to ensure your child’s safety.
All of our staff are required by New York State to undergo on going training either through state classes or in house training. Our directer is a Certified CPR and First Aid instructor and certifies our staff in CPR and First Aid. The quality of any child care center is dependent upon the staff chosen to care for the children. We welcome on going parental feedback to ensure our staff is providing top notch quality care and any concerns a parent may have are taken into deep consideration to maintain the highest standards for all of our employees.
Michele Carr bought Pine Tree Day Nursery, an already established NYS childcare center in 1983 while she was pregnant and in search of childcare herself. At the time she was excited about becoming a new mother and was eager at the idea of being able to raise her child along side working with other children in providing a service for other parents that she would expect for her own child. During this time the early childcare center business was just starting to be established. The industry start to grow from more than just a babysitting service, but an early learning service where children would be given a strong foundation that would make the transition to kindergarten smooth. She prides herself in being able to provide exceptional childcare for over 3 decades for a price that parents can afford. Throughout the years she has been able to see many children grow up to become strong members of the community. She has watched families grow from being the nervous first time parent bringing their child in for the first day, to becoming an excited grandparent with their second generation of children coming through the center. She says their is nothing like seeing a child you once helped take their firsts steps to seeing them enroll their own child. She takes great pride in seeing families grow and return through the years which has made living in the small hometown community so rewarding.

While growing up Danielle attended a small local in home child care center. At the center as Danielle got older she became eager in assisting with the children where she developed her passion to become an educator. Ironically she always wanted to own a childcare center and while gaining experience in a professional setting she acquired a position as teacher at Pine Tree where she met her husband Ryan. Danielle earned her bachelors in Childhood Education from SUNY New Paltz and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004. Later in 2006 Danielle graduated with a 4.0 from Dowling College where she earned her Master’s in Special and Childhood Education Birth through grade 6. In addition she holds NY State Teacher’s Certifications in these areas. Lastly, Danielle is a mother of 4 and uses both her experiences professionally as well as from life to continue to grow the business. As her children have gotten older it has allowed her the opportunity to become more involved in the family business and implement her education and ideas. Together the family hopes to continue to grow the business and redefine what parents expect out of an early childcare center.
